DIGITALVIEW APPOINTED HP LARGE FORMAT DISTRIBUTORS DigitalView has recently secured a distribution agreement with HP for their Large format inkjet printers. Both the compatibility with the ProofTech Versojet, and the exciting new colour innovations of the new HP Z-Series printers, have prompted this move. See more here.
FIFTH VERSOJET INSTALLED IN SA DigitalView recently concluded the installation of the fifth Versojet Duplexing unit for the HP5500 inkjet printer. Currently there are four installations in Johannesburg, and one in Cape Town. These units enable imposition proofs to be printed on both sides of the paper, with accuracy tolerance of less than 1mm. REMOTE TECHNICAL SUPPORT NOW AVAILABLE DigitalView has installed and tested a software solution that will enable us to provide remote technical support for software (and some hardware) related issues without needing to be on-site. The software runs via an Internet browser, and once authorised by yourself locally, we are able to take control of the computer and work with it as if we were in front of the machine. The connection is very secure, and employs the same security levels used and trusted by major banking institutions. This remote support will not eliminate the need to be on-site, as in the case of hardware failures, but when remote support is possible we believe that our customers will benefit from both a time and cost saving. PROOFTECH VERSOJET NOW AVAILABLE IN SA DigitalView are proud to announce a distribution agreement with ProofTech, in which printers in South Africa will now be able to purchase the VersoJet double-sided proofing solution. VersoJet enables one to print imposition proofs on both sides of the same sheet of paper, thereby producing less bulky and more accurate folded mock-ups. For more information go to: ProofTech.
